What happens to your code if I switch themes?

If you add our code to your store (or if you're a Scaling Brand plan customer and we've done custom work for you and added code to your store), switching themes will likely mean you'll lose those changes.

So here's what to do each time you switch themes.

If you're a Shopify Plus customer

If work has been done to your checkout page, then just copy over the checkout.liquid file. Typically, it should be ok if checkout.liquid isn't copied over but it's hard to say, so it's best to copy over all these files.

To be safe, also copy over these 2 files from Assets:

  1. dk-widget.css
  2. dk-widget.js

For any other page -- such as your PDP (product detail page) -- be sure the code snippet gets added again.

If you're on another Shopify Plan

For any page -- such as your PDP (product detail page) -- be sure the code snippet gets added again.

Just in case, also copy over these 2 files from Assets:

  1. dk-widget.css
  2. dk-widget.js
