For our Shopify app, donations are tallied on the 3rd business day of every month. Your credit card on file will be billed for the amount fundraised in the previous month.

We utilize the best in class cloud services for our hosting, which brings the best of what is available today in the form of data center physical security and system infrastructure security to our service. This is constantly monitored and we are notified immediately of any potential threats. This protects our infrastructure, systems, and data. We use the current encryption and security standards for all communications from the web browsers to the back-end so all communication is encrypted and authenticated. Our payment and credit service utilizes a PCI-1 compliant service. We do not hold or store any credit card data in our system. Check out our privacy policy here. We process our payments to charities through The DailyKarma Foundation.

Can I donate anonymously?

Yes, you can make your donation anonymously. This ensures your name doesn’t show on the Cause Funds website or to the creator of the Cause Fund you donate to. The DailyKarma Foundation is a non-profit, donor-advised fund (tax ID 47-5570019) that processes donations. To donate anonymously, just email us at support@dailykarma.com and let us know.
