Before you connect your Round-up campaign, be sure that you have "Add-to-cart limit" off in your Shopify checkout settings. See this knowledge base article for instructions.
When you connect your Round-up campaign, the widget will look something like this (if you're on the Emerging or Scaling plan, you'll have additional customization options):
Please note that the customer MUST check the box to add the donation. Round Up CANNOT be set to automatically opt the customer in by default.
Once a customer checks the box on the widget to add a donation to cart, the widget will change to indicate a donation has been made (the box in the widget that the customer checked will remain checked).
Additionally, the donation will appear like this in cart, with the quantity box and increments (each $0.01 will be counted as a separate product so for a $1.00 donation, you'll see 100 increments under "Quantity"):
To remove the increments and quantity box, your web developer can follow these instructions. After you remove the increments and quantity box, the Round-up donation in cart will appear something like this -- with nothing showing under "Price" and "Quantity" in this example (your cart might just show "Quantity" and "Total"):
