Troubleshooting your Point of Sale campaigns

Here are some app issues that you may encounter


Can’t access the campaign tile because it’s below the fold and the screen won’t scroll.

If you have multiple campaigns or other app tiles installed on the primary screen, you may have issues accessing the donation campaign tile. 

  • To remedy this, create a new page by swiping left and clicking the “Create new page” button. 
  • Then follow the instructions for adding the Shop for Good app on this page.


NOTE: If you have already installed it on the first page, you will have to remove it from that page to avoid having duplicate instances.



“Please wait” message when tapping to add a donation and donation never loads 

This can occur when a disconnected campaign is still enabled for Point of Sale.

  •  Confirm that your campaign is connected from the Shop For Good app dashboard.

“Loading…” message on Shop for Good tile and never finishes loading

Same as above, this can occur when a disconnected campaign is still enabled for Point of Sale.

  • Confirm that your campaign is connected from the Shop For Good app dashboard.

 

“Something went wrong…” error when tapping a donation campaign tile.

This can occur when a formerly available campaign becomes disconnected or disabled for Point of Sale.

  • Confirm that your campaign is connected and enabled for Point of Sale.
