Why can't I find my preferred nonprofit?

Our nonprofit database includes over 1.8 million U.S. charities, but there are a few reasons your preferred nonprofit might not appear:

1. Not a Valid 501(c)(3)

Only verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits are eligible to be added to Shop for Good campaigns.

2. Not Registered with Our Donation Partner (GetChange.io)

For Portion of Sales and Point of Sale campaigns, nonprofits must be registered with our donation distribution partner, Change.

• Only nonprofits that have granted permission through Change can be selected for these campaigns.

• In your dashboard, eligible nonprofits will be marked with a “Permission Granted” flag.

• If your nonprofit isn’t listed, they can register by claiming their account here: Claim My Nonprofit.

• Please note that it can take up to a week for a nonprofit to be verified by DailyKarma's donation distribution partner, Change, once the nonprofit has completed the sign up at https://getchange.io/claim-my-nonprofit.

3. International Charity

To ensure compliance and proper vetting, international nonprofits available through DailyKarma must be approved through GlobalGiving.

At this time, we are not able to add newly requested international charities to the DailyKarma system, including organizations that are already verified by GlobalGiving.

IIf an international organization is already available in the existing DailyKarma charity list, it may be added to a campaign as long as the campaign complies with applicable AB 488 requirements.
